Román Mejías Gómez (born August 9, 1930 in Abreus, Cuba) is a former professional baseball player who played outfielder in the Major Leagues from 1955-1964. He played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, Boston Red Sox, and Houston Colt .45s (later renamed Houston Astros). He also played one season in Japan, in 1966, for the Sankei Atoms.
